FAQ – Creative Team Building Workshop
Who leads the workshop?
Hilary, Founder of Awake Leadership Solutions, leads all workshops.
Where will you travel? Will you visit my organization?
Yes, Hilary travels all over the world to lead workshops at organizations as well as public spaces. If there is interest, I’m there for you!
How many people is the workshop designed for?
The workshop is designed for 8 – 20 people. however, I have given the workshop to a group as small as 4 people and a group as large as 30 people.
How long is the workshop?
The Creative Team Building workshop is designed to be 1.5 hours long.
I also offer a half-day format that is 3 hours long as well, where we have more time to spend on exercises, discussion, and questions.
What kind of space and set-up is required for the workshop?
I will need a room that fits all participants seated with desk space to work on. Round tables or conference tables are ideal. I will also need a projector to show my slides and (ideally) a whiteboard to demo examples on.
How far out do I need to book a workshop?
I prefer to book workshops 1 – 4 months in advance.
How much does the workshop cost? What is included?
The cost of a workshop ranges from $500 – $1,000 depending on the type of organization and group size. Supplies for the workshop are included in the cost. All costs will be agreed upon prior to confirming the workshop and I will work with you based on your budget.
It is ideal if all participants can also receive a copy of my Awake Leadership guidebook at the end of the workshop. Copies of my Awake Leadership guidebook are extra cost and can be added on for each participant at a discounted rate from the regular price of the book. I will cover and coordinate delivery of the books prior to the workshop.
Travel costs are not included and will be charged in addition to the workshop fee, agreed upon before we confirm the workshop. I travel for free within in the Bay Area, up to 50 miles from Tiburon, CA.
Are there any special discounts or rates?
Yes! I offer discounts for non-profit organizations and schools.
What is the cancellation policy?
I have a simple, standard contract I will send you once we decide to go forward with planning a workshop. 50% of the cost will be due when you confirm the workshop and this is non-refundable. 50% (plus any travel expenses) will be due one week after the workshop is given.
